We are going to WDW and have decided to add in IOA to do WWOHP. So we are driving in on Sat June 4 probably not arriving until around 9PM. I dont want to pay onsite costs to stay at HRH that night but my husband does. We do want to get to IOA for the early admission for onsite guests but I thought we could check in around 7AM to be able to use one hour early admission. Is that correct? We then would head to WWOHP but are not doing any of the HP rides. DS10 does not do roller coasters. So with that in mind what order of things should we do. We are going primarily for HP but will check out the rest of the park after that. Then I am wondering if we should get a 2 day pass so that we can go there again the next morning with the early entry since we are staying onsite. Not sure if it would be necessary to go back or not or to check out US. We are a family of four with a 10 yr old and a 2 yr old. Thanks for your help.

Checking in a 7 am works well except you are tired if you have been travelling late the night before. Not all of the rides in the WW are coasters. The Forbidden Journey isn't. I would get a two park pass if you are planning to avoid all coasters. You can always just get a one day and then if you decide to go another day, just upgrade before you leave the parks on the first day.

Yes, we will be avoiding all coasters. Mainly just want to see WWOHP but will enjoy the rest of park if time permits. Is there much to do for a almost 3 yr old at IOA or US? From what I have looked at it looks like US would be better for younger one but not sure if we are getting 2 park pass but that may be the way to go - maybe a 2 park pass for one day instead of 2 days? I know it says FJ is not a coaster but is it really fast and jerky or scary?

Regarding 7 AM check in - I realize it may be rough getting up that early from cheaper hotel but then again I hate to pay $300 for a night of sleeping but it would be easier to check in the night before and have all that behind us too.

How far is the walk from HRH to IOA and US?

All of the things in Suess would be suitable for a three year old. There is also a fun play area called Me Ship the Olive that would be fun.

Ok - change of plans. We have decided to drive through the night as DH works nights and is used to being up anyway and get to HRH earlier and will plan to enjoy hotel and swim the first day. Then will get up for early arrival at IOA. Since son does not do coasters should we do Olivanders first for the wand show? What time does Broomsticks open? We would like to do lunch there before we leave the HP area.
