Good morning, Are there picnic areas in majic kingdom so that you may bring cooler of sandwitches to save on cost of food? Thank You

There are no actual picnic areas. If you can find a restaurant or snack area that isn't too busy, you could just sit there. However, I would be courteous and try to let people who are paying customers have first dibs on the tables.

You can bring small coolers into the park. Storing it in a locker under the train station and eating on the train station balcony might be a smart move.

My family and I do this all the time. There are plenty of places for you to stop and have a picnic lunch. One of our favorite places is along Main Street. There's a couple of "off the beaten path" locations that we like to use. I also would recommend to eat during "non-dining" times. This will limit the amount of people sitting at the tables and will give you a broader selection of places to choose from.

If you time it correctly, there is sometimes an entertainer playing the piano at Casey's Corner.

We do it all the time. Have never had a problem finding a place. (I do agree with the previous post to be respectful of those how are buying their food from the eating establishments. They should have first shot at the tables.)

There's a hot debate going on about this on the Theme Parks Strategies board.

The general consensus is that tables at counter service restaurants are for those purchasing their meals, not for people bringing in their own.

We've done that on many vacations, but we take our picnic to a different resort pool area by their concession stand. Usually the Contemporary Resort. After a bunch of days of resturant food, we're ready for bologna and salami sandwiches, some chips and a few beers. We purchase our fixings at Goodings the first day and have it all ready for that 4th day picnic, we also have a sandwich at our own resort pool area.
