We are taking our 3 year old grandson to WDW in January. He loves character meals. My 180 opens tomorrow. I had a friend offer to come over and help with her computer but I think I'll be fine alone with my phone and desktop if I use the correct order. This is what I've come up with as far as the order goes but I haven't tried to book many of these in years.

1. California Grill brunch
2. Cinderella Royal Table - dinner
3. 'Ohana - dinner
4. Tusker House - PPO breakfast
5. Chef Mickey's - dinner
6. BOG - PPO breakfast
7. Garden Grill - PPO breakfast
8. 'Ohana - breakfast
9. Hollywood and Vine - PPO breakfast
10. 1900 Parkfare - dinner
11. Sanaa - lunch
12. Chefs de France - dinner
13. Via Napoli- lunch
14. Kona Cafe - lunch
15. Plaza - lunch

I know I have to do CRT from the computer and pay upfront. We are renting DVC at the Poly and haven't decided if I'm going with DxDP, if I add it, do they refund the money when I use the DP there? How does that work?

We are also using ME for the first time as we usually drive. Hoping to do 10 am brunch at California Grill on departure day. If flights out are at 5:30 and we're packed with our luggage delivered before the ADR that should be doable, right?

My last question was that I had seen on here that the phone app would only allow you to book 60 days out. I've pulled it up to play with it today but didn't actually book so I'm assuming that's a thing of the past?

Thanks again for any advice.

I'm not the best with order to make reservations, but I think BOG PPO will be difficult to get and might be better above Chef Mickey's and Tusker. I'll let the experts chime in for that though!

You'll have plenty of time with a 10am brunch and 5:30pm flight. ME will pick you up 3 hours before your flight (if domestic), so they'll grab you around 2:30. That leaves plenty of time for food and exploring.

I just checked and I can book dining 180 days out on the app, so that's a possibility as well.

I'm also going in Jan and booked my ADRs on Mon. I had issues online (both with the app and computer) and had to call in at 7:00 to book, frustrating. I was still able to get all of the ADRs I wanted. Including CRT, Ohana, chef de France, BOG lunch, Garden Grill, and Tusker House breakfast. I wouldn't over think it, I think you'll be fine!

Thank you, and you're right! I need to move up BOG!

Sounds like we might run into each other! I hate that there were issues. I pray that doesn't happen! I don't hear well enough to make that call! I might have my friend on stand by if that's the case! Glad you were still able to get the ADRs you wanted! Ha!! "Over think it" is my middle name! :flower1: Thanks for the reply!

I would book via computer. I would suggest re-ordering as follows. And booking "night time packages" if on DDP. Also, if you really want to focus on character meals, then you might consider PPO at Crystal Palace (Pooh & Friends) instead of BOG (no characters at breakfast/lunch).

1. California Grill brunch
3. 'Ohana - dinner
6. BOG - PPO breakfast [or Crystal Palace PPO breakfast]
7. Garden Grill - PPO breakfast
4. Tusker House - PPO breakfast [If on DDP, then book Rivers of Light package]
2. Cinderella Royal Table - dinner
5. Chef Mickey's - dinner
8. 'Ohana - breakfast
9. Hollywood and Vine - PPO breakfast [If on DDP, then book Fantasmic! package]
10. 1900 Parkfare - dinner
11. Sanaa - lunch
12. Chefs de France - dinner
13. Via Napoli- lunch
14. Kona Cafe - lunch
15. Plaza - lunch

Thanks very much for re-ordering and the suggestions! He does love CP and Pooh! We've done that the last 2 years! I have a hard time getting out of the commando touring frame of mind! My thought was that BOG would put us near 7DMT but the truth is, I doubt he'll be tall enough! It's probably a good idea to do CP for the character interaction!
