Help with online check in room selection

Hi all can you help.
When I reserved the room I asked for a couple of specific buildings (11-13 or 62-64) and they put my requests on the invoice. Not sure what chance I have of getting them
Now on online check in it gives me 2 separate requests. Not sure if these will cancel out my previous requests even if I select upper floor which wouldn't impact on the buildings I'd selected before?
Not sure whether to select the two requests in online check in, as they are more generic such as Millers Road etc rather than just hoping I get the buildings I asked for?
Here are my priorities what do you think I should do:
1) Quiet with a nice view over water/ canal if possible. Not a room near the highway or busses turning.
2) Not in a position where I'm having to ride buses inside the resort for ages but a 5-10 min walk to Hospitality House (I'm a fast walker) is OK.
3) Upper floor so no one above.
4) Not too far from one pool.
5) Some of the villas have been refurbished, would be nice to get one but doesn't seem to be an option.

What would be my best 2 requests on online check in- Peninsular Road, Millers Road etc?

If advice is to stick with what I already asked for do I just leave the requests blank on online check in or can I also select upper floor etc?

Finally should I also use the Touring Plans fax.

I go 18 August.

Unless you reserved Hospitality House location, you will NOT get building 11-13, also 62-64 are basically reserved for H.A. or medically needed requests.
 
Don't count that a fax will be read. Online requests override reservation requests. You will have better luck adding the request to the reservation by sending MS the request via the member website.

If I've given requests with MS I don't even go in and look at the online. If I do the online I expect that it will override anything given to MS. So, either do the online or call MS and make certain what you put in is still there and if you want high floor then have them add it.

If you make a request it can cancel the previously-made requests out.

You can do online checkin, but do NOT do requests if you've done them verbally or through email/chat.
 
Sorry I'm a cash buyer so don't have member website. So from Billpa's response my request on the phone won't be honoured as I cannot select HH as an option as I think that is only for DVC members? Given my criteria does anyone have any idea what I should be selecting from the online check in given it looks like I may as well do that given Bill's comments?

I don't believe there is any room refurbishment work going on at this time. The last refurbishment was completed awhile ago.

They have been doing semi refurbs- redecoration. The units were cordoned off and painted inside and out- no new bathrooms or anything think a full refurb scheduled for 2017. Many people have said on here and TripAdvisor this was being done and people have reported good as new looking rooms that have just been done. Not all done though.
 
Near Hospitality House (HH) is a category, it is not a DVC member only thing. It will depend on that category you booked whether or not you can get your preferred buildings.

No, it is a DVC booking category. Not a booking category for cash reservations. So cash reservations shouldn't plan on getting 11-14 or 23-26.
 
You are right. I was assuming she is renting points and not a cash reservation, don't know how I thought that.
 
Thanks what I did is go on Google Earth and look at the 3d bird's-eye view. You can rotate it, zoom in and see everything in detail- what's on either side, roads, bus stops, pools, bus turning areas etc. Then if you click on a block it actually gives you the building number. As a result I have been able to select more buildings I'd be happy with.
