Help With Oct Availability At AKV

I am adding 3 nights onto the beginning of our vacation I would like to try AKV. I am going to call and see what might be available. If I have to waitlist what should I waitlist for? What is the most likely to come through? There are so many options.

The first 2 nights will just be me & a 5 yr old. The last night all 4 of us and then we move to the BC so a studio is best. I am not so concerned with a view or which building.

My experienced guess is that a standard view studio is most likely (of the 4 types-value, standard, savannah, and concierge) to be available. Here's my experience-when I called recently to add a few days at AKV studio in early October, the standard view was available at both Kidani or Jambo. I think the savannah view was available at Kidani only, but that I'm not sure of, since I took the standard view at Jambo. What I really wanted was the value studio, but I had to waitlist for it. Fortunately, my waitlist came through in only 2 or 3 days.

I don't think you will have any problem getting something at either Jambo or Kidani. AKV is one of the larger resorts and if F&W falls during the time of your stay the big demand will be at BCV & BWV.

I did get standard view at Kidani. It was the only studio available for our three nights.

Of course I put us on the waitlist for club level, nothing ventured nothing gained

I'm going to have to call MS again then. I tried for either a 1 bed or studio at AKL for early October a couple of weeks ago and they had nothing available.

We had to book SSR for a 2 bedroom in Oct and wait list for BWV & BCV. SSR was completely open for all room types and all dates in Sept and Oct.
So I know the demand is at the 2 Epcot resorts. Everyone, including our group want to be there for the F&W. Keeping my fingers & toes crossed my wait list comes thru.

Last year I was on the wait list for 2BR SV AKV for the first week of October and it never came through. There are more rooms available this year I think since more of Kidani was declared so chances of a waitlist coming through are probably better.
