I have already tried calling Disney and spent a lot of time on the phone with a very nice, but clueless cast member. I’m hoping someone on here knows if something can be done about my problem, so I don’t have to waste my time calling multiple times to get someone who knows how to help me. Here is my issue:

I am booked with the Play, Stay, and Dine package for a birthday trip for my daughters (10 and 4). I am the lead person on the reservation with my husband and two daughters. I recently found out I am pregnant and have a complication (sub chorionic hemorrhage), so my doctor says he won’t know if I will be cleared for travel or not. I do NOT want my daughters’ birthday trip to be canceled if I can’t go. Can my husband be changed to the lead person on the reservation. I was hoping I could be removed and then added if I can go. We do not have travel insurance.

No idea but if not able to remove you, remove him, let him be "you" at least as a body count for ADR/FP, etc. The ticket will be his once he gets there and uses it, even if it's in your name. Just let him use a MB assigned to you. The fingerprint storage is reset with each ticket.

ETA - congrats and well wishes on a healthy pregnancy

Just had a similar issue on Jan 3 as I made a reservation where I was the lead person on the reservation. It was for myself, my daughter and her friend. I couldn't make it due to work so since my daughter is 18 she was allowed to check in without me being at the resort. So you don't need to change anything as your husband is over the age of 18 and can check in without you. As for you being part of the reservation Disney should refund your part or should I say give you a credit. They usually give a credit that is good for one year.

When is your trip? Have you paid your balance off already?

Technically speaking, yes, you can do this. As long as the new lead guest is someone over 18 who is currently on the reservation, it can be done. You need to call WDW back and ask to speak with someone in Guest Services. A regular phone CM is not going to be able to handle this.

Just know, any changes you make within 30 days of check-in is subject to a $50 change fee, so just be prepared for fees if you keep changing things around within that time frame.

The other option is to just leave things as they are and, if you can't go, you will just end up with an extra ticket for yourself (or anyone else you want to reassign it to) and extra dining credits which your DH and DD's could use while they are there.

You do not need to change anything as long as your DH is going. If you find out you cannot go, then I would call Guest Services (not reservations), I think their number is (407) 939-5277 and tell them the situation and see if they can adjust the cost of the package, or adjust the tickets since you will not be there. I have found that they do a great job in these type of situations.

Since they have a package I would assume they don't want to pay for tickets and dining plan for the person not going

I finally got a cm that knew how to get someone to do it for her. They said they had to cancel and rebook it with my husband as the lead guest. I am not on the reservation now, so I lost my fast passes, but if I am able to go, they said I can be added on later.
