Help with my digital? Burst mode?

My camera has this function and I don't really understand which function I should keep it on if at all. Thanks for any help!

In the capture mode it controls the Burst mode:

High Speed captures up to 3 frames at 3 frames per second at the highest resolution and least compression.

Low Speed captures up to 5 frames at 2 frames per second at the highest resolution and least compression.

Unlimited captures images at 1.5 frames per second at the highest resolution and least compression as long as there is space on the memory card, but the frame rate diminishes as the buffer memory fills up and images are transferred to the card.

That sounds like the equivalent to a motor drive on a regular 35mm camera. You can take rapid fire shots. Try it on the fountains at Epcot or the monorail. You'll capture the whole "movement" sequence in a series of photos.

My camera has it but it is not called burst that is why I'm not 100% sure.

My camera calls it continuous drive.

I'm bumping to see if I get any more info. Should I keep any of these modes on all the time for just regular picture taking?
