Hi,

My family will be attending the 1st two dates of MNSSHP this year. We have gone the past two and it's hands-down our favorite.

Previously we (myself, DH, and DD 9 and 6) have been Dalmations and Hula dancers - girls, while DH and I wore Hawaiian shirts, ect.

This year I am planning a surprise trip so I can't ask the kids/DH too many questions since I don't want to raise suspicions.

I think one night we will be the Flintstones, but I haven't a clue for the second. One friend suggested Gilligans Island characters - but the kids have no idea who they are. I've seen fifties outfits, but I know it will be too hot for DH to wear cuffed jeans.

Is anyone willing to share their ideas??

Thanks so much for all your help!
Jeannine

I've been considering this myself. My kids (ages 5,4) are talking about wearing Lilo and Stitch costumes. If they stick with it, Dh and I will probably wear hawaiian shirts, leis and straw hats.

I'm waiting until the Disney Store starts putting out costumes before we make our final decision.

Whatever we pick-- it's going to be something cool and easy!

I'm just trying to figure out the weather!! I would love to wear a long dress, but, if its 100 heat and humidity... maybe shorts would be a better option??!!!

If only my crystal ball was working!! :smooth:

We have been there in the 1st week of October and it hot! I've seen many kids, and adults, in those heavy fleece costumes. They are so miserable.

Whatever costume we choose, it will be cool

Do yourself a favor and pick something cool! I was the Evil Queen on the Halloween night MNSSHP and I was unbearably hot. I still had fun but would have been even happier in something lighter.

Now that I've said that, Florida will probably have a cold snap this year and everyone will freeze.......
