We will be there December 5th and 6th. I think I've got our first day looking ok, especially with our FP return windows but the next day I'm having issues. Please help!

Wednesday, non-party day, BOG PPO breakfast, 9am open

Current plans:

Breakfast BOG 8:00 (8:35 reservation)
SDMT (by 8:40)
Winnie the Pooh 9:00 - 9:20
Buzz 9:25 - 9:40
Space (FP 9:40 - 10:40) 9:45 - 10:05
Barnstormer 10:10 - 10:25
Dumbo 10:35 - 10:50
Ariel Meet and Greet 11 - 11:20
Voyage of Little Mermaid (FP 11:05 - 12:05) 11:30 - 11:50
LUNCH
Thunder Mtn FP 1:20 - 2:20
LEAVE PARK

Return after dinner

Now I'm wondering if I should get a later FP for Space and maybe Buzz (instead of Voyage) and stay in Fantasyland and then move to Tomorrowland, stay there for lunch (or go to Main St), and then head over to Thunder Mtn.

Thoughts? I don't want to leave this too long as there are still FP available at ok times.

I did the above based on a tour and taking out rides that didn't interest us (Astro, Speedway). Kids are over meeting characters except for Ariel.

This is only our second trip and it's been 5 years so any help is appreciated!

I like the idea of making the loop in Fantasyland and ending in Tomorrowland. I think it would be more relaxed and less walking back and forth.

I don't think you would need a fastpass until you got to Tomorrowland and could use one for Space Mountain and one for Buzz. (Touringplans agrees)

My thoughts:

SDMT (8:40)
Winnie the Pooh (9:00-9:20)
Meet Ariel (9:30-9:45)
Under the Sea (9:50-10:05)
Dumbo (10:10-10:25)
Barnstormer (10:30-10:40)
Space Mountain (10:45) According to touring plans you could get here as early as 10:15, but being conservative you may want to push your fastpass back a little if possilble.
Buzz (Fastpass from 10:45-11:40 if available)

You could have time to do other things in Tomorrowland before lunch as well (My family loves the peoplemover and carousel of progress which wouldn't require fastpasses)

I think you're overthinking it...the walk from fantasyland to tomorrowland is not that far. That being said I do think the FP for VOTLM is unnecessary and could be used on a more popular ride. I guess if you can change it go ahead but I don't think it's s big deal to go back and forth. Are you planning to ride splash or pirates? The FP would be better spent on one of those on the way out of the park.

Thanks so much!

Pirates is the day before and the kids don't want to ride Splash again. I'm getting worried about a non-party day!!!

What is the likelihood they will keep the 9am open? If they change it there goes my PPO and we don't have a FP for SDMT....

I don't think they will change hours again for that period since they already made changes for that week. Nothing would shock me though! Fingers crossed for you! How about haunted mansion, do you have that in your plans?

I hope you're right! That night has EMH so I'm hoping the late open (until 1am) will mean they keep the 9am open. My fingers are crossed too!

We have HM on our plan for the day before (along with Pirates, IASW, Jungle Cruise, etc). It looks like a 3/10 from TP so I'm hoping we can get a lot done.

We're hoping to do Fantasyland and Tomorrowland this day (the 6th) with one more ride on their favourite ride (Thunder).

While I agree that the walk isn't that far, why make the walk if you don't have to?

I would change your Space Mtn to the later one and grab one for Buzz and stay in Fantasyland until you're done there, and then move to Tomorrowland.

Thanks everyone. I think this is a much better plan. I was able t get a FP for Buzz at 10:45 and Space at 12:20. We'll spend the morning in Fantasyland and then head to Tomorrowland. If we decide to keep the Thunder FP, I think we'll enjoy a relaxing train ride.
