I want to cut the dog bone and have my dog's name in it, the way Pluto is on the front of the cart box.

Can I do that, and how? I was going to try selecting the bone and just typing the name and see what happens, will that work?

Thanks, Steph

I would think you could cut out the bone and then cut out the lettering for your dog's name and lay it on top.

I just got the Mickey font yesterday and I'm so excited. Looking at the book now, you will need to cut out the bone first. Then your letters go on top.

I can't figure out what these end caps are. They are for both the letters, and the shapes. I guess I'll start cutting stuff and see what happens.:lmao:

Thanks guys! DH (former engineer, lol) is messing with it now, because he's sure he can make it work.

Redlawyer, I've had this cricut for two years, and I'm still cricut illiterate! I do wish the books had more specific instructions, but maybe part of the fun is learning on my own?

Thanks guys!
Steph

To cut out a name in the bone you need to use the bone end cap. Press end cap, then the bone, then press the letters. Make sure end cap is pressed while you are pressing the letters. After you enter the name, press endcap shift and then the bone again.

Again that is

Left bone endcap, name, right bone endcap (shift key is where capital letters and right bone end cap is)

Will this work with the Mickey Head as well?......to put a name inside the Mickey Head instead of "Oh Boy!"
