I'm hoping someone can help me...
My trip is June 9th-16. My family will be staying at Art of Animation. It is my understanding that I should be able to book fast passes April 9th. Is this correct? My problem is this: When I log on to MDE and click on the fast pass section I see the calendar for April. I click the arrow over to May and dates up to May 8 are blue and after that they are gray. All June is gray. It looks like they are making me wait 30 days out instead of 60 for the fastpass booking. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you handle the problem? I really don't want to call anyone and get the run around... but if I have to I will.

April 10th is your actual day to book FP+ selection. You can start booking @ 12 midnight EST. All guests must have park tickets linked in MDE to make FP+ selections. Also, resort reservation must be linked too.

Hope this helps!

I have the same issue. Please let us know when your open window arrives (april 10th) if it allows you to book 60 days out!

All family members have hotel reservations at Art of Animation as well as linked tickets. Our check in date is April 9th. When I log in to the MDE page and go to fast pass section the calendar is only blue up to May 8. Why do you suppose the dates past May 8th aren't open if I'm supposed to be able to book April 10th? I'm afraid there is a glitch in the system... :( Very frustrated...

It's only open through May 8th based on your tickets that are linked to MDE. Once April 10th gets here, the 60 days in advance goes into effect based on your resort stay. You'll be able to book Fp+ for your complete stay on April 10th.

This is exactly what I see as well. AKL lodge booked & tickets linked to MDE. I don't go until July 1st. But the calendar is giving me the next 30 days now to book fp+. My window should open may 2nd I believe so I don't understand why the current 30 days are open to book fp+.

You can book 60 days in advance of an onsite resort reservations - you can book starting April 10, as PP stated.

Because you don't have a resort reservation in the next 60 days (from today, April 8), it is permitting you to book 30 days in advance (i.e., as an 'offsite' person).

So, until you hit 60 days prior to an onsite check in date, you can only book 30 days in advance.

The 30 days are open due to your tickets linked to MDE. Anyone with linked tickets in MDE can book 30 days in advance. Your 60 day advance window opens based on the date of your onsite resort stay.

So what you're saying is that once April 10th gets here all of the other dates will turn blue and I'll be set to book? I hope that happens... :) Thanks for responding...

You have a 30 day FP+ booking window because you are considered an off-site guest until you are 60 days from check-in. Once you are 60 days from check-in, your FP+ booking window will expand to 60 days and will cover the length of your reservation.

Thanks for clearing that up! That makes perfect sense! phew...thought I had linked things wrong or something.
