I need someone who has actually flown into Orlando Airport and went straight to the bus area for transfers to the port to explain process. I booked transfers after I received cruise packet in mail so I don’t have instructions. I searched online but can’t figure out when to put the tags on and if I pick up bags at the carousel and bring to bus, or is it like Magical Express??

The Ground Transportation section of the Disney Cruise Line web site says you don't have to claim them - it works like Magical Express:

"
Guidelines for Ground Transportation
Prior to your vacation, you'll receive a Documentation Packet that includes your Guest Travel Booklet with special luggage tags. Attach the tags to your luggage prior to leaving home.

*If you have arranged a pre-night at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, at Walt Disney World Resort independently or have purchased private transportation, please do not attach the luggage tags prior to leaving on vacation.

Upon arrival at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed directly to Disney's Magical Express® on Side B, Level 1 – Ground Transportation. A Disney Cruise Line Representative will collect your luggage and deliver it to your stateroom.

International Guests: You must first claim your luggage and clear Customs and Immigration. Once cleared, your luggage will be returned to the main baggage claim area where a Disney Cruise Line Representative will collect and deliver it to your stateroom."

The link also provides a telephone number so you could call and confirm.

If you didn't receive the luggage tags, you'll have to pick your luggage up yourself and take it down to the bus area with you. You will still need to put a luggage tag on with your stateroom number on it. If you received the tags, you just need to put them on before you leave your home airport. One note about international travellers - if you are coming from an international airport where you do customs and immigration there (for example, Toronto airport) instead of in MCO, you can use the tags and do not need to pick up your luggage yourself.
