Hi all,

I have booked up for DLP from the 5th til the 10th of March 2012.
My return flight is 1020hrs and instead of leaving really early for the coach I have booked TGV tickets for 0910hrs.
Will 1 hour be long enough to get from the station to the terminal etc?

Paul

I think thats cutting it a bit fine really - which terminal does your flight depart from, and are you taking hold luggage? I'd try and get an earlier TGV to be honest, I always get the TGV back to CDG on our last day, but usually get on one which is about 2 hours before our flight departure time. Queues at security at the departure gates can be long.

Hi

we will be there at the same time :)

I think you should defiantly get a earlier train also in case your train is delayed.

It is doable but you will be cutting it fine.

To do this you would depend on several factors:

1) That you know exactly where you are going from the TGV station to your terminal. You will not have time to stop for anything.

2) That you are already checked in online.

3) You are carrying hand luggage only. If you have any checked luggage forget it.

4) You are travelling with only adults, or at least older fast moving kids - small children will slow you down - don't just decide to leave them behind!!

5) You are pretty fit and not averse to charging through an airport, especially if your train is a few minutes late.

If you don't fulfil any of these then get an earlier train, bus or shared transport. If you would simply like a more relaxing last day leave earlier - I've missed a plane before and it is not a great feeling, neither is forking out for another fare home!

It is not essential that you squeeze every possible minute out of your trip just make sure that you enjoy it while you're there. We were faced with a similar problem for returning this year we decided to get shared transport back and I feel so much more relaxed about it now.

Either way once you book it you know what to expect on the last morning!
