I was reading the sticky post about the helpful links for reservations to CRT. In the first post of the thread there is a link to someone's tips, but when I click on the link, nothing happens.
I tried to read quite a few posts, and the major tips I gathered were: call at 7 a.m. (FL time) exactly 180 days prior to the day you need the reservation, call a few minutes before 7 and keep hitting redial, as soon as you hear the recording press 0 or 2, speak very quickly about size of party, date, etc when (and IF) you do get thru

Is there anything else that I missed? Our trip is still a ways out, but I am doing my research early! I guess the phone menu can change, so I will have to call the day before to see what number I need to push!
any other tips would be great!

That post is pretty old...it was from "back in the days" when it was VERY hard to get a ressie at CRT...now since February 1st, 2006 they have made changes and it is much easier to get reservations. So no worries...just figure out when your day 180 is and call and you shouldn't have a problem getting a time.

::yes::

Don't sweat it (unless you're visiting on Christmas Day or similar). I called two weeks ago for July reservations and then rescheduled to a different date in July - each time I had my pick of several times.

Have fun!

Thank you both for letting me know it's not that hard to get into anymore! I guess I didn't look at the dates on that thread to see it was so old. I'm glad it's much easier to get a reservation -- I just know my 3 little girls will love it -- so magical :lovestruc

ENJOY...we are talking my DDs 1 and 4 when we go in April...I am very excited. People are not giving it the best of reviews lately because of the price and whatnot, but I think that eating in the castle will make it all worth it!

I have an atomic clock, and it was EXACTLY 7 o'clock on the second when the call finally went through if that helps. I wasn't put on hold either - got right through. Good luck!

(I think the price is worth it with the photo package, but I'm paying OOP and figure I would be buying the photos anyway.)
