I hope someone can help me. We are going to DL in a few weeks for several days. Both DD's have tennis shoes to wear. DD3 also has some Teva sandals that she should be comfortable in. I would like have a sandal option for DD5, her new Disney Crocs are hurting her feet (it's the bumps on the bottom). Does anyone have any ideas for her? Need something comfy that could be worn all day long if necessary. She's a kids size 11.

My girls love Stride Rite sandals...actually all of their shoes for that matter. They never have a problem with "ouchies". :) I see that you're in Sac...we make the trek quite often to the Stride Rite outlet in Folsom, same cute shoes for half the price. Good luck!

sorry, but we are all a family of croc wearers and we never have blisters, but we all wear socks while in the park so there is no gliding. we take our socks off before wet rides. we put powder in our socks to.

we are crocs wearers as well.. but I will say that dd can't wear the disney crocs (she had a pair of tinkerbell ones) for long periods of time they give her blisters, but if she wears regular crocs or the ones with the mouse heads then she is fine..

yep, the disney crocs her my boys feet to! we use only regular ones now. :)

oooh, I had no idea there was a Stride Rite Outlet in Folsom! I'll have to check it out! I'm in Lodi.

I bring a pair of Teva flip-flops and my amazing Rainbows flip-flops just to switch off and on, but honestly I have worn my Rainbows for a 5 day trip straight and never had any problems. The only thing is you have to break them in about a week before you go though otherwise they are too stiff. I am a SoCal girl so I live in flip-flops all year long so they don't bother me but I don't know how your kids like flip-flops. Just an option!

I always have my kids wear tennis shoes to the park. Not new ones--you never know how new shoes are going to rub until you walk in them for a while. I throw cheap (think Target $1 spot) flip flops in our back pack for them to wear to walk on to the water rides. They are light and don't take up much room. My kids are all asking for new shoes for Disneyland, but I am worried we would end up with lots of blisters and unhappy footsies!:yay:

How about a well worn, broken in, comfortable pair of shoes that she already wears to school? Running shoes? ETA: in the summer or winter, we always wear flip flops. They are very comfortable when walking around day/night and perfect for water rides.

We love our Keens! My youngest will have Keens, Crocs, Tennis Shoes and velcro closure sandles for rotation on our trip at the end of the month. I know that he will probably only need his Crocs and Keens though (he also wears an 11 or 11 1/2 and prefers the Crocs because he can put them on faster!)
