Help with kid's bigger size character socks

I could use some help finding some character socks. DD is only 5, but she has a size 12.5 foot. She hates socks, but states that if she had Hello Kitty or Disney Princess socks she would love them and wear them all winter. The problem is that I can't find any Hello Kitty or Princess socks that fit a kid that wears an over size 11 shoe. Anyone know where I can find some? It sure would make my mornings easier in cold weather!

My daughter just turned 7 and wears a 3.5 shoe. She's a giant. Anyway, I found some before at Target's dollar spot. Not great quality, but they work... That was a while back, but I know we have gotten Hello Kiity and princess there, as well as Barbie and Fancy Nancy. Also, Little Mismatched has cute Disney ones, but they aren't cheap; good quality though.

When my kids were still in those sizes I remember getting a bunch of character socks pretty cheap in the Target dollar bins. I just saw adult sized character socks at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago. I know it's going to be hit and miss but just look around at large department stores. They may be cheaper quality but you should be able to find something.

Looks like they have some on Amazon.. they look to run about $2-$3 per pair, depending, but if it convinces her to wear socks in the winter, might be worth it, lol.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I looked back in the kid's section at Target, but I never thought to look in the dollar bins. I'm definitely going to hit those next time I'm at Target. I also had no clue that what I am seeing as size 6-8 on some websites is actually her size! If their website is right, I think our local Sears may have some I can go pick up tonight. If not, I think I will order that box of Princess/Fairy socks from Amazon tonight. Hopefully, this will end the morning sock battle!

TARGET DOLLAR SPOT!!! I just picked up 5 differnt pair of Hello Kitty, A bunch of Holiday Themed including Minnie and Mickey, and some Disney Princess for DD7 for Christmas... They are $1 each!!!

My daughter was able to get socks (again at Target) that fit her and she wears an adult size 8.5.

Another vote for the dollar spot at Target. Make sure you watch the sizes since they often have different sizes of the same design.

Thanks so much! I picked up a 3 pack of Hello Kitty last night at Sears (they were out of her size in Princess). I didn't buy more than that because I wanted to see if she would be good on her word that she would wear them. I got home and put one on her, and instead of yelling it was itchy, uncomfortable and she hated it, she said "Okay, lets take it off now, but can I wear them tomorrow?" This morning she put them on with no complaints. That just doesn't happen at our house! I will be hitting the Target bins tonight or this weekend!

OP... I have actually been looking for some for boys in the smaller size. My soon to be grandson (his mom is my son's fiancee), loves crazy socks. I have not had luck finding them for boys. He wears a size 10 shoe and he is 4. I bought him a pair of Dr. Suess and Snoopy socks from Target's $1 bin last year and he never wanted to take them off. I have not been able to find any since.

The sock size I think for that size shoe is size 5- 6 1/2 (DD's 12.5 size foot fit in the sears' sock size 6- 8 1/2). The were on sale for $6 for a 3 pack of socks (regular price $8).

Target and the disers!!! Thanks everyone. Picked up 4 pairs of Princess socks in the $1 bin tonight. DD was thrilled. Didn't have any holiday socks though. However, I am now a jealous Mom. In addition to the Princess socks, I found a pair of Miss Piggy socks in the bin for DD. Boy, do I wish they had those in my size!

Target definitely has some in bigger sizes- they even carry them in my size

Little Miss Matched has some cute Disney ones, too.
