Help with Keeping Reservation a Surprise

My mind is frazzled. Help me out!

I was thinking of surprising my hubby with the dessert party on our next trip. How do I avoid the surprise being ruined in MDE? We both have accounts that are linked together and we share plans. So I'm assuming I can't make the reservation in my account like normal? Can I create a second account to make the reservation? Will it be an issue since that account won't be linked to tickets, magic bands, etc? Would I just show up and give them my name/reservation number?

Sorry if this is dumb. I can't think straight with a million things going on. Thanks!
