Hi,

We are going to WDW in April. I went to the site to purchase tickets for the new Star Wars VR experience at Disney Springs. The availability ended on February 14th. Based on that I'm guessing you can only purchase tickets 60 days in advance (attraction opens December 16th). Can someone confirm this? I can't find info on it.

Sorry if this has been discussed. I searched but couldn't find a thread on the topic.

Thanks!

purchase tickets 60 days in advance
There isn’t a 60 day booking window for this. Tickets went on sale in October and tickets were being sold for all the dates.

An end date for this hasn’t been posted.

Thanks. So this isn’t a permanent attraction? If there isn’t a 60 day limit and it’s not a permanent attraction and the ticket purchase calendar ends in Feb 14th it seems logical to assume the attraction is closing in Feb 15. Make sense?

It really is unknown. @rteetz may have info on the Rumors/News board and he may stop by here. :)

Think about this from Disney's perspective. This is contracted out. Disney would not want to book this for an extended period of time. If they did that and it flopped, they would have to cancel it. Cancelations for relatively new attractions are a bad thing from a PR perspective. If it booms, they can always extend it. We are going on 3 FEB. I have my fingers crossed that it will be a hit and become a hot ticket.

those tickets are GONE. we get there the day it opens and I never saw availability at all....

We got tickets immediately the day it was announced, thankfully were able to just make that last min decision. It seemed like, at the time when selecting, that it was/is a limited run. That said if people love it i can see it being extended a few more months. I mean thats easy money!

Also just a note to the above who said they are gone... im checking the site, there's a ton of times left on most dates.

I'm going during Christmas week and have changed my reservation day/time for this like 4 times and haven't had significant issues getting tickets. It hasn't always been exactly at the time I targeted but I found quite a bit of availability during a really busy week overall at WDW.

About how much is it? I couldn't find the pricing info on the site.

I'm curious about this... has anyone booked as a solo traveller? I might wait until I hear some reviews :)
