Help with hotels for early arrival!

I tried to search for some of these hotels for reviews, but search is not working for me again!

We're driving in to Orlando on the 2nd and our check in to SSR is not until 3rd. We're planning on staying in a low cost room outside of WDW for the night, then heading over to SSR to get our KTTW cards early. I want something REALLY cheap but also clean and not roach infested ! We looked at grabbing two rooms at Howard Johnson for $50 each for 4 people in each room. Has anyone stayed there and is it clean? It shows as 3 stars so I'm guessing it would compare with a typical Holiday Inn or something! Thanks in advance for any help or other suggestions!

HoJo, and Holiday Inn for that matter, have gone in Orlando.

so it depends upon you.

Best Western (on the whole) is still okay.

oh be sure you check the entire name of the hotel you are asking about - tripadvisor is easily confused.
