help with hotel

I am staying on International Drive (no car) and doing some sun & shopping holiday, need help with a suite hotel.
I am interested in staybridge or homewood or anything else you can suggest
I have read good and bad about each hotel which I expected.
Any suggestions?

I've never stayed off site of Disney but I've heard the Caribe Royale is a great place.

offsite without a car - well if you don't intend to go to the parks - it might be okay.
