Hey everyone! We are back from our Disneyland vacation for a few weeks now, got annual passes, so we decided we are going back for thanksgiving. i really need help finding a hotel. we would like a nice place, nice neighborhood, but cheap. proximity to disneyland no longer matters, as we have the annual passes and will be utilizing the free parking that comes with it. please help me! thanks

Priceline a 4 star and you can get one of the convention hotels cheap. Just know you will have to pay for parking at most of them and that's $15 more a night.

WOW, that Disney House looks awesome! If we can convince the grandparents to come with us on a future visit to use up that extra space, I would totally rent it.

That house is so cool but I'd still rather stay at the GCV.

As far as cheap and not necessarily close, look in Cypress, CA.

Holy CRAP!! $700 a NIGHT! :scared1: Must be nice is all I can say.

I have to agree about wasting time to save money though. We stayed in Buena Park once... about 7 miles. No problem, right? WRONG! It took us almost 2 hours before we were in the park. And this was in the early evening hours- not the morning rush. The drive from Buena Park took about 15 minutes. It took 45 minutes just from the off ramp to the first stoplight. It was ridiculous! Never again!
My favorite hotel by far is still the Park Vue Inn. You can't get any closer, the free breakfast is great, and the upgrades to the place over the years are fantastic.

good to know that the Park Vue is an okay hotel. it might be a possibility onn our next trip! on our last trip this summer we stayed at the portofino. definitely not amazing .. but not bad at all. we were in the newer section of the hotel.. it was clean, seemed overall very safe, and for us walkers.. not too far away!

I really liked the Red Lion and it was a great deal especially with AAA. They do charge for parking though. I have heard some have made deals in that area though.

I suggest looking into the Wyndham Family of Hotels, for they provide a variety of rooms and suites as well as rates and distances to Disneyland, that I am certain will accommodate all of one's needs most well. I know of not one property that charges for parking. And for all properties that I can think of,provide a continental breakfast as well.

There is a Howard Johnson that is conveniently located to Disneyland. And is within walking distance, or you may opt for ART or OCTA. This particular location is a most popular one, and the rooms can and do book up early, especially during this time of year.

On this website, one will find this property as well as it's sister hotels. The above mentioned property is located at 1380 S Harbor Blvd/I-5 in Anaheim. And throughout the year, has what is called retro rates, with it, one can book a room at a greatly reduced rate. You will need the Entertainment Card for such.
