This trip keeps changing and I think that's part of what is making me 2nd guess myself. Planning a trip now in December for the 18th - 22nd, may possibly add the 23rd for myself and my 2 adult sons. Dates changed originally from September as DS #2 had his deployment extended. We are coming from Minnesota so the boys will want some pool time assuming it's reasonably warm. We plan to visit MK, EP, HS and AK on this trip plus at least 1 dinner in Disney Springs. We have stayed at FW before and liked the cabin although it does add transportation time even with a rental car. I've stayed at BC on a solo trip but we've never stayed at YC. POFQ is my favorite moderate but we've never stayed at CSR. The Swan might be a good option but I've heard mixed reviews about the service although the location is great. Shades of Green where we where originally going to stay in September is fully booked. We were originally going to do CBR but then Universal sent me a PIN code so I've flipped our Disney and Universal days. We will have a rental car for sure as part of the goal of the trip is for DS #2 to be able to go see his grandparents who live about an hour away.

These are our options at the moment, in order of total price:
CSR - 2 std view rooms
YC - 1 std view room ($118 more)
FW Cabin ($160 more)
POFQ / POR - 2 std view rooms ($217 more)
Swan - 2 std rooms w/resort fee ($237 more)

Personally, I would cut the yacht club out. I love the yacht club, but I think having two separate spaces would be nice since the kids are adults now. I would go with CSR. None of those other options are better enough to warrant the extra charge other than possibly the Swan due to the location but I have no experience staying there. The pool was nice at CSR.

If there are just three of you I would vote for the Yacht Club. Being able to walk to two parks is really nice and they have the best pool on property. :)

CSR is really nice, too, and would get my vote, too. :)

two rooms at POFQ or 1 room at YC. Whatever you think your family will enjoy more, location versus four beds and two bathrooms. :) . Both resorts are amazing!

I would do 2 separate rooms at CSR if it were me. I think with the addition to the new tower and the new over the lake dining area that it really makes this resort a major contender in the Moderate category. I'd spend the extra on rooms in the Gran Destine tower.

Any of the moderates with 2 separate rooms .Since you are thinking of going to Disney Springs at least once I would vote for one of the Port Orleans resorts. The boat to DS is better the bus or driving IMO.
