Help with good nap spots

Hello! We will be traveling with 4 kids under 5yrs old. My DS is HYPERactive and napping can be very important but he fights it tooth & nail. If I try to get him to nap while walking up and down main street or anywhere else I can think of in the MK, I don't think it'll work.

We will be staying w/friends off the property- and prefer not to round everyone up to go back to the hotel for a 45 minute nap. We will have 2 nice big reclining strollers, so my thought is to find a place where the kids can nap (in the stroller) without too much stimulation. It would need to be a place where I can walk with the stroller and a/c is a plus. It would be great to find a place in each park but if there is a hotel that we can connect to via Monorail and we could walk in a shaded area or down long hallways, that would be great.

Also, are there any hotels with good coffee bars...some coffee for the adults (while the kiddos sleep) would be DREAMY!

Thanks in advanced!

Try the Baby Care centers. They are fabulous! A/C, room with TV, quiet room, etc

The Contemporary has a nice "lobby" one floor up with nice views and couches. I often see people napping there.

Well, if napping is that important and he fights it that much...there might not be any place in the World that is without distractions enough for him to go to sleep. If that will keep everyone happy - think about just one adult and the one child in question returning home for a nap (or everyone doing it - it doesn't hurt to have everyone well rested).

Although - if he does fall asleep - EXpo hall in MK was one of my favorites when the kids were little. Walk to the back - cool and quiet in there and seats for mom or dad.

Also - consider just trying to ride the Railroad around and around -the movement might help him fall asleep.

Thanks for the answers so far. Would I be able to walk up and down the hallways at the baby centers...is there enough space. I know it sound weird but sitting in the room would not work for him, motion helps him.

MK- Expo Hall or Contemporary sound great

AK, DS, EP...any ideas? I have not been to these parks in years...are there easily accessible hotels near by?

Thanks again!

For EP, I would head to International Gateway and visit the Yacht and Beach club lobby. He may even fall asleep on the walk there. My DD did fall asleep once in the shaded area at the exit of the Canada movie. But it gets VERY loud when a show lets out. So timing would be important. There is a garden in the UK that also be quiet early in the day before the band plays.

For DS, I can't think of any "quiet spots". There is a walkway from Boardwalk to DS that is usually quiet. You could also hop on the boat from DS and ride to the Swan and Dolphin hotels. They have some quiet areas in the lobbies.

Ak has a WONDERFUL BabyCare center. Or find a nice quiet spot along a exploration trail.
