Hi Guys

I am planning my third trip (November) this year to Orlando ( I know I'm spoilt but there must be some perks to living at home with your parents)!

Thing is I normally fly with Virgin but they are for some reason they are really tight availability wise and I can't get a direct scheduled flight. I am considering flying either chartered with JMC or in-directly with Delta.

The main drawback with Delta is the time of the journey. With JMC it is direct BUT the baggage allowance is only 20kg which is peanuts for me especially when I shop at the outlet malls! Has anyone else had problems with the baggage allowance and how much if you do go over do they charge you?

Also I normally stay in the Holiday Inn I Drive, which I know most people either love or hate, personally I have not had problems with it. However I fancy a change and seeing as this trip will be Universal, Seaworld and Busch I'm thinking of staying in the Crowne Plaza on Universal Blvd, anyone ever uses this hotel and what do you reckon?

I really would appreciate any advice or comments as I need to book something as I'm getting withdrawal symtoms!

We almost always do indirect (and have done so with Delta).
We dont find the flight time noticeably longer and enjoy the break along the way. Did this originally for health reasons (DH has had stroke & cancer!!) bit now do it by choice. We've seen lots of airports!
