Help with first day....

Ok, so Mom and I are getting in late at night. Spending 1 night in a studio at BWV and then moving to 1 bdrm also at BWV...that same day we are going to MNSSHP. What would you do that day?

Thinking maybe, check out then check in and hang by the pool. Or maybe head to DHS for a bit. We don't want to tire out too much since we want all our energy for MK??? Never stayed at BWV before any suggestions???

You can enter MK at 4:00 PM for the MNSSHP so I would just check out the resort and Boardwalk.

There is always the pool and the Wyland art gallery to see and you could eat lunch from one of the Boardwalk restaurants or take the boat or walk to the Yacht Club, Beach Club or the Swan & Dolphin.

I would go to MK at 4 PM, and relax all AM. Maybe the pool, a nice rest on the BW, but I would leave the hotel at about 3 PM, assuming bus, maybe 3:30 if car. I might consider in ice cream sunday for fun

I agree with the experts on here - relax and enjoy the resort! If you want peace and quiet, try the small pool and hot tub over by the Community Hall.

You know, of course, that since you are changing rooms that day that you will be "homeless" most of the day. You need to check out of the first room by 11 AM and check in to the second room is not until after 4 PM, sometimes eariler, sometimes later. You may not even have your room in time to go to it and still go to the MK for 4.

Yup, I know we'll be homeless. I'm thinking we will probably hang around the BWV and maybe even walk over to Epcot or HS for a little while. BTW, how close is the walk to Epcot? Also, would it be best to walk through Epcot and take the monorail to MK or just grab a bus?

On the MNSSHP day, I would just take a bus to MK. I'd enjoy the resort as others have mentioned, hope I have the 1 bedroom before 3, unpack and head to the MK.

I'd wait for the room to be ready, even if it wasn't until after 4 pm. It won't be horrible to get there between 5 and 6. There is likely to be a crush at the bag check around 4 anyway.

P.S. At an average pace, EPCOT is about a 10 minute walk from the lobby to the IG. But I'd still take the bus to the MK for MNSSHP.
