Help with Fantasmic Dessert Package

I have 2 tickets for Sunday, Sept. 30th. I asked when I should check in to get the best seats and the lady said she thinks around 7pm, but I could have sworn I read on here that check in was around 2pm. Does anyone know the actual time? The woman told me she's new, so I'm wondering if she doesn't have all the information straight yet.

She also told me I check in on the water front between Pirates and the Haunted Mansion. Can anyone be more specific about the location than that? Is it obvious where we check in? I want to be the first one there to guarantee good seats.

If you go to DL themeparks, and then parades & shows you'll get the link to the Fantasmic show & pictures that show where the dessert buffet is. We just did the Fantasmic dessert package Saturday night. Check-in officially starts at 7 p.m., however we got in line before 6:30 and we were third in line. The supervisor started checking people in a few minutes early, saying "the line isn't going to get any shorter." Seating is assigned in order of check-in. Becuase the gallery balcony isn't available anymore, they have opened up a new section of seats by the "B tower", which is located with a good view of the central water screen. Perfect location for watching the fireworks too.

I have one more question, if someone can answer.

Do you have to show up at 8:25 to be seated, or can you be a bit later and not give up the good seating (I plan to get there early for check in, so I should have great seats)? I'd rather get there 20 minutes in advance and grab a quick drink to have with my goodie box. Waiting more than that, along with the wait to check in, kind of defeats the purpose of paying for seats, imo.

I have to say you can probably get there about 8:30 or even a little later. If you do get assigned the B tower seating area, you show up there for your seats, instead of back at the original check-in spot, although we were misdirected by CMs back to the check-in point and finally escorted over along with a couple of other groups. Definitely ask about it when you check-in. We thought the time went pretty quickly, what with getting our drink orders in, getting them, and exploring our dessert boxes.

I just remembered my boyfriend will be at the ESPN Zone watching his favorite team play a game on the day we have our Fantasmic reservations. The game will end at 8:30 if there's no overtime...

I hope they'll let me switch it, but I have a feeling I'm out of luck. Maybe they'll let him join me at the last minute. I can't believe I messed this up. I'm usually so good when it comes to planning and squeezing the most out of my time.

I'm SO happy! The supervisor made a huge exception for me and changed my ressies to the later show. Now I don't have to worry about making a mad dash at the end of the game or making my boyfriend miss the end (it's the only thing he's asked for during the whole trip).

Hmmm, you can try checking in yourself when you get there & save a seat for your boyfriend once you're inside. That MIGHT work.

I usually go with bigger groups and all of us have to be seated at the same time, but if it's the two of you... Maybe he can be convinced to hightail it to DL as soon as the game is over, or as close to it as possible.

One time I went and three of my party couldn't go. I had 1 adult & 2 child tickets, and asked the CM if I could give them away. I found a family who were there on their last night & they were from out of town. It felt good giving those tickets to them.
