Help with EMH, Please

I understand the basic idea......it's E-Ride without the extra cost, right? What I don't understand is how you tell what the hours really are. I'm staying at ASMo, maybe changing to ASP. (just to let you know that I will be at a Disney resort) On the Disney website, it says the hours of MGM are until 8pm, so does that mean they are actually open until 11pm? Same with AK. The hours are posted until 5pm. That means they should actually be open until 8pm, right? I really want to see AK at night, from the posts months ago about going at night, it seems like it would be a totally different park. I'd like to do MGM later since it is my arrival day and won't be able to get to a park until about 1 or 2pm. I thought it would stretch my dollar, so to speak.

The park hours listed on the WDW site are for the general public and therefore do not include the EMH hours on the calendar.
So, if MK hours are listed until 8:00 then the EMH would be from 8-11, same with AK if closing time is listed as 5:00, then EMH would be 5-8

I prefer to use the schedules posted on here (wdwinfo.com) or allearsnet.com. They give you a better picture of park hours with and without EMH.
