Help with element guidelines!!

Ok, I am in a swap and I signed up to do the lyrics to a song (for Parade of Dreams) and it can't be handwritten (thank God!! LOL would hate to write this out that many times!) but to do it LEGIBLY on the computer, it's going to end up like, 5x7. Is this too big??? I have never done this before, so any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I've seen them done that size before.. and I personally like them that way.. I would suggest to PM your hostess and see what she says or post on the swap sign ups and ask everyone their opinion...

Can you do it long and narrow so it can be used as a border?

What size font are you using? You can go down to 8 or 9, pick a "slimmer" style font. Or, only use part of the lyrics.

The ones I have gotten from other swaps are no bigger than 4 x 4 when matted, which I think is a great size.

Here are some examples from older swaps. One has two tags, one a shaker, and one a topper with the matted poem or lyric, so you can see the relative size.

Wow, those are gorgeous! I especially love the Blizzard Beach one!
The Parade of Dreams lyrics are HUGE! And they are so sweet and special (makes me tear up every time I hear it, LOL) that I can't imagine cutting anything out. Hmmm.....maybe I can tweak it a bit more. Thanks for all of teh advice (expecially you, KatDisney), it's nice to have the actual host of the swap say yes CJ, ginormous is ok... LOL!

Wow, those pics where great. Makes me even more nervous about my first swap. I like it well enough but..... I never though to use mu mickey scrissors like that on the letters.... I scraplifting I am sure!!! Thanks!!!

I am happier with the items I have worked on for my second swap and then I haven't even started the third LOL
