We are staying at Vistana for the 1st time. We have always stayed on-site. My hubby and I are terrible with map reading and directions. Can anyone give us easy directions that I can write down to get to each of the Disney parks? I would greatly appreciate it because we are very nervous about staying lost. Thanks

Hopefully someone else will come along with more specifics but it's real easy. We went out the main entrance and turned right and I think went up to the next intersection and turned right again and stayed on that street and went right under the Disney World sign. Somewhere I have the street names I'll look it up if someone doesn't come back with the specifics for you. Just wanted you to know it's super easy.

At least that is comforting. Maybe someone will have specific road name on the way to each park, but I really appreciate your reply:)

They are in different places. If staying at Vistana Villages, simply turn left onto International Drive at the entrance. Continue until the road dead-ends and take a right. This puts you onto the main Disney road. Just keep going straight and follow the signs for the park you want.

Oops that's true there are 2 I stayed at the Resort so just automatically assumed that is what you meant???

We are staying at the resort, not the villages.

Ok here's my notes:

If leaving from the main entrance make a right on 535. At 1st traffic light make a right (Marriott World Center is on right, Nick hotel is on left) Gates of WDW are right down the road.

Sorry I don't have the name of the second road but we followed these directions and they were spot on. Super super easy. Have a great trip.

Exit Vistana resort, making a right turn on Hwy. 535. Proceed approx one mile to the first stop light, Hwy 536, and make a right. Proceed past the big Marriott facility on your right; pass I-44; you'll then come to the big Disney sign that goes across the road. From that point, just follow the signs to your park or resort destination---they're all well marked for parks, resorts, etc...but not as well marked with street names. I found that if you miss a turn, and just keep going, the signs will get you back on track. If you're going to Downtown Disney, make a left onto 535 out of Vistana(you may have to go right and then do a U turn); proceed past I-4 a block or two until you see the the Disney signs opposite Crossroads shopping area. Make a left, go past all the hotels for a mile or so, make another left, and you'll see the parking for Downtown Disney.
Have a good trip:cool2:

Thank you both for the directions, it seems like even I will be able to find it...lol. I was just very nervous, this is my 9th trip but 1st time off-site so I'm anxious about alot of things. This board is so helpful and the people are so nice.:)

Oh no problem. I was the same way but it is super easy from the Resort to get around disney. We stayed at Cypress Pointe once too and that's another real good location to disney. I like the couple turns and your there types of places and these two fit that bill.
