Hi! Welcome to DIS!

The Princess meal is at Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland.
You can find the menu at dlpfoodguide.com

Hope that helps :)

Also if you look at the Restaurant sticky at the top of this page there are some recent reports about the meal including our visit there in April.

It was a really good experience but you cannot guarantee which Princesses are there
princess:

Is it similar to the character tea party ie the princesses come round each table, for an autograph and photograph opportunity?

Its certainly a bit more expensive than Cafe Mickey for dinner - would you say its worth the money?

I thought it was worth the money. The food was of much higher quality than a lot of other restaurants in the park (only eaten breakfast in Mickeys so cant compare) and was what i would consider a proper French meal as opposed to theme park food.

Worth looking at the menu before you book though as there isnt a lot of choice and if your children are picky you may find they dont like what is on offer

just wondered if it runs around christmas though

Hi mixednuts, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:
just wondered if it runs around christmas though
If I remember rightly this restaurant used to offer special, more expensive meals on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, so I assume the normal menu and prices applied on the other days. Not sure what will be happening this Christmas now that they have changed to Princess meals, perhaps it will say in the new brochure.

I was considering this meal as DD loves the princesses and I love the look of the restaurant and would love to eat in there and have the cinderellas slipper ....lol , however I'm not really sure of the menu. i would be fine but i don't think there is anything hubby and the kids would really eat, and 48 euros is a lot of money to pick at food. Think we might just do walt's and lucky nugget saloon instead, buy DD a princess dress and still have money left over.

I know what you mean. I have a fussy son who won't touch the starter and will probably only pick at the main course. I myself am a vegetarian and I don't eat dairy so don't know what choices I have. The only dish on the menu for me is Tortellini in a 4 cheese sauce...no good on the cheese end!! I am hoping to contact the restaurant beforehand and ask that something else be prepared as I don't see the point in me paying 48 Euro just for drinks.....

Still, it must be done for my daughter. This is the last year she will probably really appreciate the magic of the princesses and it will be an amazing moment for her.
