Help with Disney Dinning

We travel to WDW for our annual trip in July for 14 days. I always do a costs analysis on dinning. We usually do the ddp but am looking into the tiw. My question however is if you have been lately are prices for the buffets like chef mickey, (not a fan but kids love it) crystal palace, and such really 59.95 per person? If you have been lately and can confirm these prices that would be great. WDW site says 35.99-59.99. Wow they have gone up and food is hit and miss. Thanks for the information.

The website only gives a range that applies to all restaurants in the same category. It doesn't mean that all buffets/fixed price meals costs $59.99 but might mean that some of them do at times (likely CRT dinner for adults under peak pricing could reach the upper limit). I think they do this because posting exact prices would be too difficult to update or keep track of.

If you want exact prices for specific restaurants you can call WDW-DINE and ask - I don't recommend asking them about much, but other posters have noted that they can give you prices. You're going during peak pricing and peak pricing at fixed price restaurants is $4 higher for adults and $2 higher for children than in non-peak seasons so make sure you ask them about the price in July.

As per allears.net, the most recent pricing listed for Chef Mickeys (dinner)is $40.23 per adult and for Crystal Palace(dinner) is $40.99 per adult. We were there in Sept and those prices sound about right, we were on DP though so didnt pay too close attention.
