I hope this is the right place for this! Obviously, please move if not!
I have read over the ride accessibility program on seaworlds website. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with the rides in the Sesame Street Area. My two guys have spastic quad ( one has dystonia but he can hold his trunk snd neck up, they are just weak) they can grip with their hands, but due to their spasticity they cannot “reach” far. I know Disney is great for letting you sit close to them and help support if needed. They would not be able to ride alone without me, due to cognitive delays and slight stability. Will they still be able to ride these smaller rides with me ( or one of my over 18 children) accompanying them?
thank you!

If you go on the SeaWorld Orlando website or app they have a full list of rides and the requirements needed in order to ride. If the children can’t remain upright without aid the chances of them being able to ride are slim. I find that SeaWorld and universal are much stricter about these kind of requirements than Disney.
For instance this is the requirements for the big bird ride

Physical Restrictions: Each rider must be able to remain sitting up straight, keeping their head upright, their back and shoulders against the seat back and their hands, arms, legs and feet down and inside the ride at all times. Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace or broken collarbone, full leg casts or braced arm cast will not be permitted to ride. All other casts must fit inside the ride vehicle. Guests must be able to grip with one functioning hand and brace with one functioning leg. Two functioning hands are sufficient instead of one functioning hand and one functioning leg if the guest has a normal center of gravity and the lower extremities are sufficiently strong enough to maintain the proper riding posture under the dynamic conditions of the ride. Amputation must be at knee or below.

the other Sesame Street rides are similar. It is still a very cute and active area with lots to see and the characters/ parades are great. And of course the animal shows and interactions are amazing and I think the kids would still enjoy the day even without riding a thing.

Thank you. I did read through all of these but I was not sure if that meant to “ride alone”? I would never put them in a dangerous situation (ever) I just wondered if that was for solo riders only?

No i believe it’s for all riders not just single. It does say each rider to me I interpret that as everyone not just those riding alone. Of course when you go you can ask guest service or ride operators as well.
