I need a $10 gift for a Sunday School party on Friday night and a $25 gift for my family's Christmas Eve party. Both need to be good gifts that men & women would enjoy. I am absolutely stuck and can't think of a thing! Any ideas?

For $10:

movie tickets
tin of cookies
large can of popcorn
insulated travel mug
bird feeder

For $25

restaurant gift certificate
Electronic "Deal or No Deal" game
S'mores maker
foot massager
DVD
Door wreath

Okay - when I read "Dirty Santa" I got an entirely different picture in my head!!! :smooth: What exactly does that mean?

Anyway - I think that gift cards are very nice if you don't know who it's for. We also like to give gift certificates for the local movie theater chain.

The stores have a fun game ,( I am not sure on which name it is) It may be called "20 questions" or " IQ 20", anyway, the concept of the game is that you think of an object, and this game actually guess what your thinking in 20 questions! I saw it for $7.00 at Khols.

Sorry to disappoint, but it's not near as much fun as you are thinking :rotfl:

Basically, everyone brings a gift of equal value. Then, you each draw a number from a hat. The person with number 1 opens a gift. Then, number 2 has the choice of either opening another gift or 'stealing' the first person's gift. In the case of a gift being 'stolen,' the first person would then open another gift. Each gift may be 'stolen' twice. Whoever the third owner of a gift is, they get to keep the gift.

OK. That is really hard to explain. Maybe someone else can do a better job...

If You Have An Ac Moore Around You You Can Get Alot Of Things There. I Went Last Year And Got All My Family Done Kids Too. They Have More Than Just Craft Things.

I love the lottery idea. I also was surprised at the gift that I had for one of those parties that was stollen 'til it couldn't be stollen any more...it was one of those fountains you get at Bed Bath and Beyond. I have also gotten "joke" gifts for things like this...children's toys in a basket are hot items, finally, chocolate is always a winner.

Almost forgot, the favorate thing I ever got at one of these things was a really neat set of russian Christmas tree orniments.
