Hi everyone! Our honeymoon is coming up in about two months and we're trying to nail down some dining reservations and I'm looking to you all for some advice :)

I know we want to do a romantic dinner or two, and possibly a character breakfast and WOC desert party. I had heard that Napa Rose chef's counter was pretty great, so if anyone has experience with that I'd love to hear about it. Also maybe Carthay Circle for lunch or dinner one day, Steakhouse 55 for breakfast or dinner, Plazza Inn for a character breakfast and then the WOC desert party.

Love to hear everyones opinions, advice, experiences, see pics! Thanks in advance.

I am going to be there in August for my honeymoon. We have decided to do the chef's counter at Napa Rose. Napa Rose starts accepting reservations for the chef's counter on the first of the month that is two months prior to your reservation date. For example, I made reservations for our date in August on June 1st. We also are dining at Blue Bayou. After that we are just wing it (with multiple stops at Corn Dog Castle). Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Congrats to you as well! We will be there Sept 5th, so I guess July we need to get those reservations in! I did Blue Bayou with my dad and my son last time we were there for Fantastic dining and it was delicious. Although my son hated it because it was dark, I loved it. You'll have to let me know how the chef's counter is!

Napa Rose's direct number is 714-300-7170. I called around 1pm to make the reservation. i am really excited about the chef's counter.

It's an amazing experience. Hands down the must memorable and the food is just phenomenal.

Are they pretty good with picky eaters? My fiancé is the pickiest eater I've ever met lol he is from Massachusetts and doesn't eat fish o_O

Honeymoon huh? Room service :tongue::yay::rolleyes1 .... JK... I have enver been but only read amazing things about CC @ NR

Steakhouse 55 Breakfast and Dinner are phenomenal and my favorite meals in all of Disneyland. In fact, Steakhouse 55 is the best steak I've ever had... so that'll tell you something.

We weren't terribly impressed with Napa Rose and Carthay Circle. We prefer things to be a little more quiet and intimate for special celebrations. Steakhouse 55 will definitely give you that and more!

For breakfast, try the "Two Times Four" -- for $16 you get a lot of food! Two pieces of thick sliced french toast, two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, and a big bowl of fresh fruit (or potatoes, I like the fruit more).

For dinner, try the filet mignon and share a side of the potatoes. So amazing!!!

If you do the chef's counter, you can tell them your likes and dislikes and they will create a meal around those. So if he does not like fish, he can let them know that, and his meal won't have fish. My other half does not eat fish either. I love seafood!!

I posted a slideshow of our second dinner at the Napa Rose chef's counter:

Our Dinner at Napa Rose

Some of the courses were from the menu and some were not. I let the chef know that I was allergic to bell peppers, did not like mushrooms and did not eat fish (but will eat seafood). Chef listened to all my restrictions and I loved almost every single course I ate! We have done the chef's counter twice and we are absolutely going again for my birthday next March, in fact we are going to take our 11 year old there for his first time.

Napa Rose is my favorite place in the Resort and one of my favorites in all of Southern California. The chef's counter is great as they tailor the menu to your tastes, nothing is too exotic or "weird" but not boring, either.

Oh yes my hubby HATES veggies anything green lol so that's what we told them and they made everything he loved.

All great tips so far y'all, thank you! My fiancé hates veggies, fish, seafood, if the man could live life on steak and potatoes he would lol

I did Blue Bayou a few years ago and while I liked it, it wasn't my favorite. I did want to try Carthay for the buscuits and duck wings, Steakhouse 55 for breakfast and maybe a dinner and the WOC desert party.

I don't want every single day to have a food reservation so we have to narrow it down soon!

Oh my word, that looks delicious!!!

Booked Chefs Counter yesterday for 9/7. So excited for this! Just a few more days and we can book the rest of our stuff

We gained about 10 lbs between us on our honeymoon.

Arrival night (no park) we did Cheesecake Factory.

Next night was Blue Bayou.

Following day was Carthay Circle for WOC dining.

I can't remember what we did our last night.

And, somehow, DH still managed to get a corn dog every day, lol!

We'll be there 5 days and I'm hoping all the walking we do will limit the weight gain for me, however my fiancé could use to gain a few pounds.....makes me jealous lol

Just have to figure out the rest of our dining since I don't want reservations all 5 days.

We liked Carthay Circle for lunch. I would suggest Catal for dinner, out on the balcony. We were there last night and it was lovely. Food was delicious!
