I have a Kodak EasyShare CX7330 digital which does a good job for me. People compliment my pictures frequently but I would like a camera that is a bit smaller and lighter to take with me next week to the Flower & Garden Festival. I don't want to spend a lot but would like pictures comparable to my Kodak. I might add that I am camera-technology challenged so I need to keep it simple. :goodvibes

K-Mart has a Kodak 1003 digital with 10 MP on clearance for $125 (reg. $179) and also a Sony S700 with 7.2 mp on clearance for $104 (reg. $149).

Best Buy has a Kodak EasyShare 6 MP for $89.

Anybody know if any of these would be comparable in picture quality to what I am used to, and/or would any of these be worth getting?

Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Donna

Hi....I'm kinda in the same situation, but I've been strongly considering --after reading and reading....the Canon SD 750. I've just seen the SD1100 come out and now am a bit confused. Can anyone comment on either??? Thanks

Did you know that the DIS has an entire board dedicated to just photography? I'm going to move this post over there so that the digital imaging enthusiasts can give it their expert input.

I do not know anything about those models, but generally speaking the Sony should have better image quality. It uses different memory though.
