We will be traveling on Thursday Dec 4. We will arrive at LAX at 9:30AM. We will be staying at FFI. We will check in and head straight to the parks.

I’m estimating arrival time to be around noon. Hoping it will be earlier but I’m being generous just in case.

We have 2 day hoppers with Maxpass. We’re planning on hitting DCA just because DL has a MM that day so hoping not to be so far behind the crowds.

Unsure of what the first ride should be or which ride to Maxpass first. We will be a group of 10 with 2 kids that are 6 and 4. Hoping to be a bit relaxed but not having a plan or strategy stresses me out.

We’d like to hop in the evening to DL so we don’t miss the fireworks as that is the most important. I don’t want to miss that. I’d like to have some FP for DL too. I’m just a bit lost as far as what the best plan will be.

Any thoughts or strategies will be much appreciated.

Radiator Springs Racers typically runs out of Fastpasses quite early. I would check on that first. Then Toy Story Mania and Soarin. You should be able to get on Incredicoaster reasonably easily without a FP depending on how busy it is, for those who want to ride it! Guardians also will run out of FP more quickly than other rides. Look at what is available on Maxpass when you get there and the return times, then make your decisions.

I’m thinking I’ll watch the app and see what ride has the shortest standby time and choose that and then choose RSR as my first FP. So far it looks like Soarin might be the best choice.

Radiator springs is primary for kids that age. Everything else revolves around that. If you get out there early enough get fp for springs and then standby ride it too. Wat while in while standby. Then move over to fp of mania when you're up after radiator springs. Sorin comes up a lot for middle day on cancellations . Max pass really helps grabbing cancellations. But 15 per ticket per day can be pricey for some....bit does include pics too so if you're into pics.....worth every penny.

Fill in waits with mater luigi and princess rides. Crush and sorcerer is fun too and nice place to hang for those wanting to do guardians while the little ones dwell at crush and others in that building...frozen preview is ongoing too right now I think across the street.

Watch the wait times on the app for a few days before your trip. That will give you some idea of what FPs might still be available in the early afternoon when you arrive and what the average wait times might be. Keep watching the app, too, to see how the wait times look later in the day and in the evening at DL, so you'll have an idea about your park hopping options there.
