Hi everybody! I'm trying to pick between a few dates and would appreciate some help. Looking for the dates with the lower crowd possibilities and weather is a concern too. Going with my husband and his sister this time and both of them don't enjoy Disneyland when it is packed. We are good at making rope drop and hitting the parks hard the first few hours.

Dates: March 1-3. These seem like they'd have lowest crowds. Not sure about how cold it'd be or rain tho. These dates aren't good for sister in law but she might be able to make them work

April 24-26. These dates fit everyone's schedules the best but I'm worried that Spring Break crowds will still be lingering and not sure how Dapper day affects these dates. Also, we've gone the last week of April a few times and it tends to be crowded with a lot of refurbishments. But, likely pool weather which would be nice. This is the week I want to go, just worried about crowds!

May 3-5. These dates are ok and weather should be nice but our annual passes will be up and no hotel discounts making this the most expensive time to go. If we go this week we will probably stay off-site to offset the higher costs.

*We've stayed on and off site many times. Was hoping to stay on-site this trip as its a family trip with my girls and nieces. Nieces have never stayed on-site.

Any and all opinions welcome!

Thats tough. I like the last two options best but the reality is it could rain any of those days as it's Spring. I wouldn't let weather be the deciding factor though.

Spring break is a broad term and spreads out over many weeks and months. Discussion we had two months ago about Thanksgivng week and how now that has changed to where everyone has that week off. But not everyone will have spring break during your week. Also, you are not up against refurbs like march dates. and the way weather is forming on Pacific ocean this winter season, rentayenta hit it right on the head, it could rain any time this year..

I voted for your April dates because it works best for all of your travel buddies' schedules AND because most, if not all, spring breaks will be done by then. Any CA schools that do spring break around Easter are most likely to schedule their schools' spring breaks for the week before or after Easter. If it's the week after Easter, then those kids are all back in session on 4/24, thus minimizing the likelihood of having massive crowds of families on spring break. And you're well out of the March spring break madness, too.

I think planning to include everyone is the best plan, so April.

Thank you everyone! Love all the info...we're leaning towards the April dates with your votes!
