Help with craft for 3rd graders

I am the classroom parent in DS's class. I need to come up with an idea for a Spring or Easter craft. I am not looking to do those foam stick on things. I need something creative, yet something that can be done in about 30-45 minutes by an 8 year old. I would be willing to spend up to $50 total.
