Help with Christmas lights...

Okay, so I know how I want to do the outdoor decorations...but we have a victorian porch where we want to hang these white lighted-balls...I've tried googling them and looking at lowes.com but I can't find them. I have everything else all ready to hang up but these.

They hang from the porch ceiling between the white posts...and they are pretty simple...white lights but in a ballish shape. I'm sorry this isn't really a helpful description..I saw them on a house last year on a similar porch and loved them.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I think I know what you are talking about. The ones I have seen were homemade ones, basically a clear plastic sphere with a string of lights shoved inside. My guess is that you can find the materials to make them at Michaels or other craft store.

My mom and I made these several years ago out of 9 0z. clear solo cups. We made a hole in the bottom of each cup to insert a light in each cup. I thinnk we stapled or glued the cups together and it makes the ball shape. The string of lights are inside the ball. Sorry this is a little vague. Maybe someone else can help more!

Have you tried looking at Menards? I've seen lighted balls there before but not sure if they are what you are talking about

I heard my neighbor talking about how she just bought them after I talked about them to her so I'm going to find out where she got them from, but I'm almost positive they are like the target ones listed above.
