We (DH36,Me32, and DS3) will be staying at the WL in Jan. We are using the dining plan. I have planned three character meals, but need some help with timing. We have never done any of the character meals. What are good times for the following:
Chef Mickey's dinner (we want to be back in the park for Wishes) Crystal Palace for lunch, and Donald's Breakfast(this will be our second day in AK, we like to eat late)? Thanks for any advice.

We give ourselves a hour (at least) when doing character dining. That way we aren't rushed if it takes a while to see all the characters. Even with ADR, sometimes the wait for a table is 10 minutes or so.

Chef Mickey's: We went to WDW at Christmastime last year and Wishes was at 7pm. If it's at 7pm in January, I would make dining around 5-5:15. Then, you have a little more than a hour to eat and see the characters and 30 minutes to get on the monorail, get back to the park, and find a good spot for Wishes.

Hope this helps!!!

Chelly

I would say try to make your Chef Mickey between 5-5:30 if you want to get back to the park. At this time there is usually no dinner rush yet and they should get you seated right away.

For Donalds we love this one. We always try to get one of the very first seatings there. You get into the park before everyone else does and it's lots of fun !!
