Help with cab or car rental?

My daughter and her new husband are traveling to Disney for the first time by themselves and would like to make a trip to Publix to pick up some necessities. Would it be more feasible to rent a car for an hour or just take a cab? Has anyone used a cab that can give me a general idea as to how much they would be looking at spending? Thanks

Getting groceries delivered from Garden Grocer or wegoshop is cheaper and easier.

App. There is a detailed thread on this board about using Uber at Disney. Renting a car for a day is so much cost and running around.
