We have bought 5 day park hopper tickets from CAA for our March break trip and have just decided to do another trip in August. :cool1: Can we upgrade these tickets once we are down there for annual passes? Does it matter that we bought them from CAA?
Thanks for your help!:goodvibes

Tickets purchased from CAA are as upgradeable as any other Disney ticket. I would suggest that you use the ticket once before upgrading. If you had a discount it will "lock in" your price before upgrading. If you upgrade an unused ticket, they can charge back up to full price.

Since the OP didn't mention which U.S. Disney Resort they purchased tickets for, it should be noted that this policy only applies to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

At the Disneyland Resort in California, you would be required to pay the full difference in price between the amount paid for the ticket and the Annual Passport price, regardless of whether or not the ticket has been used.

For tickets purchased from CAA/BCAA/AMA, it should be noted that, at both resorts, the price-value of the ticket will be determined in U.S. Dollars. With the current exchange rates, there isn't that much of a difference. However, it should be noted that you may not receive exactly the same amount of credit in U.S. Dollars as was paid for it in Canadian Dollars.

My parents are staying with us, and they are CAA members. How much would they save buying a regular 7 day ticket through CAA? Could they add it to your room key when they arrive?

At WDW the partially used ticket will be valued for upgrade purposes at its then current selling price* in U.S. dollars and you pay the difference* in U.S. dollars to get the kind of ticket you want.

* Prices posted above the ticket booths or published in brochures, plus Florida sales tax.
