WDW, DL & DLP - up next ???

Hi all - Since the unemployment bug has squished any WDW plans for us this year I was hoping we could take at least a summer road trip. DH's family lives in NY and we can stay/play/eat on Long Island for free so I thought a drive is in order! We've driven there before, but I'd like to stop maybe along the way at least a couple of times.
We've been to Hershey Park before & love it, so if I can swing it we will stop there for one night either on the way out to NY or back.
Any other places along the way? We're probably taking I-80 for most of the trip...anyplace fun to stop in Ohio? I'm talking about the touristy things that are so silly they're fun...like the worlds biggest ball of twine, WalDrug & the like...
