Help with booking breakfast outside a package

We have booked a stay at DLP using our DVC points. I've been trying to book breakfast as it's now not included but nobody seems to know how we should go about doing this.

The DVC have said that they can't do it and to contact DLP. DLP have said that they can't add it and it can't be booked on check-in and to contact the reservation centre to add on breakfast. The reservation centre have said they can't add it and to contact DVC! I seem to be going round in circles and nobody seems to be able do add it to our reservation. Do any of you guys know?? What do AP members do if they have booked a room only?

Sorry, don't think anyone knows the answer yet. Up until the end of this month breakfast has always been included with the room rate so AP holders booking room only were always entitled to it. Once April arrives hopefully we'll start getting feedback as to how it's going to work for both AP holders and DVC members.

when I was booking room only with AP discount for June few weeks ago, I was asked if I want to add any meal plan to the booking, so they have this options to do so... maybe try to call again and see if other person can do it for you?
Also I remember reading that you can add breakfast at check in as well as long as they have availability during your stay...

and if you want breakfast in park with characters you can call restaurant line 2 days before your chosen day and book it this way as well ...

Thanks for your help. Can I ask who you called when booking your room?

We would be happy to add a meal plan but I was told twice by the DLP reservation centre that they couldn't add that to my booking unless I had booked a package. I was also told on another occasion that breakfast had to be booked in advance. Last week I contacted the hotel directly and was told that I can book breakfast on check-in or if I call them 5 days before arrival, I can book breakfast that way.

There's been so many different answers to the same question from DLP that I've been going around in circles! I hope the advice from the hotel is correct as I will be trying to book it that way fingers crossed.
