Help with booking BCV

Hi!

I'm not a DVC member (yet!!!) and my family is considering switching from the Poly to the BCV for our trip in September.

I've called CRO several times but the villas have not yet been released.

Can I book it 7 months in advace?

What does 7 months mean? (is it a certain amount of days--or just "months")
If I arrive on September 6th, would I be able to book on February 6th?

Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you!!

Not sure as I'm still a new member in DVC, but I think they only open up the cash reservation rooms at 2 months out? Am I correct in remembering reading that?

As far as the 7 month thing goes, that's when DVC members can make a reservation at a DVC resort that is not their home resort. I own at AKV, so I can book there 11 months out, but have to wait until 7 months out to book at the other DVC resorts.

You'll just have to keep calling - we really don't know when DVC relleases rooms to CRO/WDWTC. To some extent, it depends on how many members use points to book cruises or certain other non-DVC options. (DVC sends the equivalent number of DVC room nights to CRO/WDWTC to get the cash to pay for those options)

There do seem to be more rooms released to CRO/WDWTC for the general public the closer it gets to the arrival date. I don't think very many units are released much before the 6 month mark.

I called CRO again (they must think I'm obsessed) and I figured out my problem!

I am using the bounceback discounted deluxe dining code from this past September and all the rooms that were available for that code are filled. So, I could drop my code to get a Villa, but I think I'll keep my code & hope someone cancels. Ahhh!

I checked BWV too, and they were full as well.
