Help with booking a room

Well, I had decided we would stay at the Swan or Dolphin in Dec. 05 (still value season). I can get the govt rate so it seemed pretty reasonable. Now a coworker has told me how wonderful Beach Club is, and I've decided that now we will either split our stay or just stay the whole time at BC.

I got a quote from Dreams Unlimited of $327 a night (including tax). It seems like the rack rates were pretty close to this and Disney quoted me about the same price too. Does anyone know if this is a good price for a standard room? Will there be discount codes coming out? If there is a way to get a better price, I would appreciate the help.

Thats a rack rate quote, do you have AAA? You may be able to get 10%-15% off

Are you military? Are you a Florida Resident? Are you an AP holder? You can usually get good rates with one of these options.

I'm a govt employee. Does Disney offer a discount for that? Other than having AAA or a discount code, do people pay rack rates? Thanks

I would call Disney and ask them if they have a gov't rate. I have never paid Rack rate.
