My son is turning one at disney world this July 13th! It will be our last of a 6 day pass and we want him to get noticed!!! What is the best way and is there anything special they do for birthdays?

Stop by Guest Realtions at any of the parks and they will give you a pin/button. Every cast member you see will wish him a happy birthday!

If you are staying at a resort on property tell them when you check in... i just got back from celebrating my B-DAY at WDW.. I got ballons and a card signed by my favorite Disney character... STITCH!!

I just wanted to say July 13th is a great B-day to have. Even when it falls on a friday it's still been a great day for me.

You can go to the zazzle page from disney.go.com and make a shirt for him.. bright colors bright bold letters. We did this to my niece and at the back of the shirt states Dont greet me a Happy Bday Please! with a Goofy Pic and in the front it was her name and Bday Girl" where ever we go she got greeted, candies from CM and pin etc....with my nephew last year it states on his shirt and he was 3 "I am not lost it is just my bday"

I would get him a birthday pin at guest relations at the first park you go to and let him wear it all week! Also, like others have said, let any TS restaurants you are booked at know ahead of time and they may do something for him.

You can get a cake special ordered at the TS restaurants. There is a Thread on this with the phone numbers. If you can't find it, email me and I will send it to you. Make sure that you tell me exactly what you want, I will be sure to forget.

Thanks everyone. We are getting some custom overalls for him made and I will make sure they are mickey and birthday filled! Also We have a character eating reservation for everyday we are at the park! We are very excited we are staying at the animal kingdom lodg! I hear it is spectacular!

I would definately get him a pin from guest relations. My DH & I did for our birthdays back in February and it was awesome. Out of knowwhere people would wish you a happy birthday - the neatest thing was during the parade the characters wished my DH happy birthday as they went by on the various cars and floats. When I went to Ghirodelli they sang happy birthday to me over the intercom - it was sooo much fun. Somehow my button was lost when we returned home:guilty: The CM had written my name in Japaneese... just too cool!! I may have to get a replacement button (not wear it) when I go back. I saved a spot in my scrapbook for it.

Yes ask guest relations for a birthday pin! Also the Charecter dinning at the Grand Floridian is nice for b-days!! They give you a cupcake and the wholw room sings to you! they also give out a kool disney place mate and a crown!

When he wear the pin around the park everyone including staff wish him a happy birthday. The kids love it!
