I made all our ADRs for our October trip and now I'm worried I booked too many buffets. I am thinking it might be harder at buffets with 2 under 2. Does anyone have any ideas for me as to where to try? What about family style restaurants, which are those? Thanks!!

On our first trip we had an 11 month old and a 33 month old. I don't knoe which buffets you booked but our first character meals were not fun. The baby especially was terrified of the characters, made dinner quite unpleasant. Will they share from your plate? IF so you may want to rethink character meals and go with some table service places that are calm and also try to eat early. Buffets in general were a bit of a challenge, DH and I would go in shifts so one could stay with the children. WHich ADRS do you have booked?

We did almost all buffets and family service on our Dec trip with DS who was 18 months old. I think buffet actually work really well. DH and I could take turns geting our plates while the other helped DS. Then we each got to eat a hot meal :)

Also under 3 they are free and there were lots of good choices for DS. Kid friendly stuff like chicken fingers and fries but also lots of fruit, veggies, rolls with butter etc. Easy toddler food.

We like Ohana, Libery Tree Tavern, Boma, Biergarten.

which ones did you chose? We liked buffets when traveling with babies and toddlers-- mainly because you don't have to wait for your food! Plus the ones that we did -- we really loved-- and we could always find something for our ultra picky DD#2. The only downside was that we (my DH and I) sometimes felt like we didn't talk much at dinner--but it was worth the happy kids.

Our favorites for toddlers-- (buffets) were Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare.

We do also love the family style too. We have done LTT, Garden Grill, Princess Norway Akershus Breakfast.

I would go back to any of the ones we have done before. We also took our DD to Boma and Ohana when she was little and she loved those too!
good luck to you!

The buffets we've booked are Crystal Palace, Cape May, Chef Mickey's and 1900. I am thinking of keeping CP and Chef Mickeys and changing the other 2. Maybe booking Ohana?? They can share with us or we can just order 1 childrens meal for them to share. Thanks!
