Help with arrival day......

Has anyone travelled on Air NZ Flight 002 that arrives at LAX at 2.30pm?
I'd like to know if you arrived at DL (we will probably use the scheduled bus service, rather that hiring a car) in time to collect tickets and visit the park on that day. This will be on a weekday in September, so I know the parks will close fairly early. We will be staying at Hojo, so will be within walking distance.

I actually took one of their later flights from London to LAX. I believe with customs and baggage claim and grabbing your bus, it could take up to an hour to get out of LAX, but you might take only 30-45 minutes. What I do worry about is the traffic, that time of day gets VERY busy. You might also be very hungry and tired when you get into the area. You probably could expect to get approx. 3 hours in the parks if DL closes at 8pm.

It is up to you if that is worth while. You could also use the time to pick up your tickets and walk DTD instead and skip using a day on your passes. There are lots of good places to eat on DTD and at Gardenwalk across the street.
