Help with arrival day and ticket upgrade to AP

Hello We are flying into LAX early on Saturday Nov 18. I hope to be at the gates by 10am. I have 5 day PH tickets from GetAwayToday which I've been assured will price bridge at full gate value (fingers crossed!). We plan to hit DCA that day and I want to get the AP with MP loaded as soon as possible.

Now my question is, where is the best place to upgrade (ensure it is bridged properly) and get a Signature AP with the MP addition? THANKS

I think the only place to upgrade is the ticket booth. Our Getaway Today tickets bridged to the non-discounted value the last time I tried (it's been a few years since I went the ticket/AP upgrade route). We had used them first (upgraded after using our MM).

We had bought 13-month AP cards and activated them earlier this month, we went straight to the gate with them and visited the ticket booth mid-day. I added MP to all of them at that time. When I did, the CM said that she could refund the $10 we'd already paid for MP (there was no need, as we hadn't added MP yet) for the day. So, it makes me think that you could just add MP to your tickets and then upgrade later if you wanted to go straight to the gate. Adding MP took a long time, among other things, it took them a while to try to bring our existing FPs (RSR and GOTG) across. They ended up adding some ME passes instead.
